Man Smuggles Endagered Iguana's To US

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it looks like he had them in good conditions, from the photo..

Nah... he has gone about it the wrong way and nicked them from a nature reserve... completely wrong in my book... this is about money and him not wanting to splash out his own cash on some LEGAL iguanas. Deserves what he gets and more. He wasn't breeding them and releasing them back in the reserve to try and help the dwindling wild populations was he. He fails.

Wow.. I still say amazing the amount of money in reptiles.. 32k for three of them..

I agree it is wrong though.. especially if he already smuggled some in and had them.. then you know it's greed.. well either way it is..

Well at least they werent being smuggled to be ground into powder for some chinese healing potion...
Taking the breeding population of an endangered animal from the nature reserve that is in place to HELP their numbers... Doesn't matter if he went out and shot it, them going into his captive collection for breeding (even though i'm pro CB) isn't too much of a consolation in this place.

When I was 18 I went to Cancun with my folks and caught and smuggled back 4 little baby green iguanas in my luggage and pulled it off. Granted that was 18 years ago and I caught them in the hedges of the hotel parking lot not a nature reserve. They were nowhere endangered either. @ of them are still around today with a herpetologist friend of mine. Like big old 4' long dogs.
