I saw a bit of it on news . Some expert thinks it was staged as no blood coming out of spear shots .
It looked real to me but I know nothing about spear fishing.
 
Blood in water is not really red at depths and because the pics were far away or after the battle i think the camera just couldn't see it or it bleed out and currant washed it away.

That is true about blood in water not being red at depths . I have caught red fish that did not look red till near surface .
I didnt even think about that.
 
That is amazing. He must have balls to have done that. I mean a 12 foot tiger shark coming at me... :WHOA::WHOA::WHOA: I don't know what I'd do.
