So, clowns are a lot like cichlids. They are intelligent, personable, weird, aggressive, amazing parents, and beat the crap out of their partners...
I’m having trouble with this last one. My female is relentless with my male. Not at the point of killing, but the aggression is starting to get out of hand, and I’d hate to be one of the people whose female killed the male. She makes it hard for the male to eat by now. Based on what I’ve seen, it’s most common when they are the only fish in the tank. I can’t get dithers because the tank is only 13.5 gallons and there aren’t exactly many options for marine dither fish, especially small ones (unless guppies work?). I have a goby in qt, but it isn’t a target fish.
My thoughts are that an open water swimmer that can hold its own will act as a competitor that the clowns will turn against, bonding with each other (similar to cichlids).
For now, is there anything I can do? Increased feedings, mirrors, isolation? I’d hate for this to go south...

Hope someone chimes in because I have no experience with Clownfish.
