I was told female a while back on here and with it's growth rate and current size I'm assuming female

fins are male jag, they come to a point, here is pic of my female I just took, notice the dif on the dorsal trail. same for anal trail.

They were referring to the what seems to be female black belt cichlid....but that is a very nice example of a well marked female jag....a great pic to show for the 'sex my jag' posts that always come up....looks like she will drop eggs in the near future....

thanks she a beauty WC Jag, very aggressive, here is a pic of the rescue Jag I got last week with the tank, not near as aggressive but again shows the female traits. they both live in there own 95g tanks.

her fins still some what raged, gold is filling out good, but her eyes still pail rather than that blood red we like.
