managuense error

i went to petsmart and saw some managuense for 4 bucks. i saw 2 gold ones and the rest were almost totally black. so i got the gold one is this a cichlasoma managuense or something else

the genus is Parachromis, not cichlasoma.

if you got it at petsmart it most likely is just a jag if it looks like a jag, never seen any other Parachromis at petsmart

LOL this really made me laugh for some reason. Btw I've seen juvi mana's that were JET BLACK but thats because they were stressed out from beating beat up on by the more dominant mana's. These were about 1-2"s. Yours were probably the dominant ones in the tank. Unless its all gold then you might have a xanthic(sp?)
