managuense x convict (black&grey) your opinion

my managuense (6'' m ) is housed with a (3.5'' f) convict she has egg's at the momment in the wall of a over turned flower pot .. hopfully they hatch . placed stockin on filter inlet's to hopefully prevent them from all being sucked up! :headbang2 :woot: :thumbsup: possibly a contender for the meanest fish??? ......
 
I dont think that would be a good cross. Jags are beautiful fish and convicts are little SOB's. Maybe if it were jag x umbee, jag x dovii then I'd say go for it.

was not my intention to breed kind of just happened the convict was put in there to take some abuse away from my TSN catfish. since the convict is a hardy cichlid. it's funny to watch a 3.5'' fish bully a 6'' fish some times.. mainly the reason I posted this was to see if anyone had or heard of it happening so as if to get a refurance as to trade in value for supply's etc... sorry if that bother's some ppl !!.... :thumbsup:
 
I was at a service account this morning and saw that a gold severum and a Temporalis had spawned. Could be neat, most likly would be ugly. I am not interested in raising the fry, I bet they all get eaten....
 
I had my Managuense x breed with my FH and the little F****** are the meanist thing Ive ever had. I had one survive in a 50gal it killed everything exept a turtle. He is only 2 1/2 inches of mean he killed a 5inch red devil and a jack. My budy has six of those gus in his 100 gal and cant stick anything else in the tank, they dont even like his hand. Be careful x breeding you never know whats going to happen.
