I just wanted to post some pics of a old project i did where i crossed a managuense and a texas cichlid i just thought people would find it interesting ill post some pics of one of the off spring i kept, unfortunately my male texas had passed so i took my female jag and paired her up with my male so i could breed them, eventually i would like to get her to breed with an another texas but for now she breeds with my male jag. sorry for the poor quality shots were taken on my old phone

He was flaring up because i had my dovii on the other side of the divider for a few days before i moved the dovii, and the texas/jag hybrid is in with my pair of jags now he does good with them they dont pick on him very much as they did to the other cichlids who were in there idk maybe the female knows he was her baby? but idk the mae will chase him off the breeding site every once in a while, in fact my jags are getting ready to spawn right now haha
