I am Interested in Breeding a pair of Manganese i think i was wondering how hard they are to breed and there growth rate per 6months or so. Help me out.

One of my old favourites. They're awesome, active, engaging fish. They tend to be happy as long as they're in control and usually don't pick excessively on tankmates (granted, they have no qualms about beating the snot out of anything that challenges them). However, this all changes when they breed. They can be every bit as aggressive as any other spawning guapote. They get quite large, with reports of up to 20 inches for males (14-16 is more common though). They grow at an average rate (maybe an inch a month) up until they hit around 10 inches, then growth slows dramatically and they begin bulking up (females slow down earlier).
