Just thought I'd post some pics of my mangrove jack. He's around 35 - 40cm and seemingly always hungry.

Do you have him in fresh or brackish water? Those fish look awesome. There was a thread on this forum not to long ago that was about a member showing a pic of his bloody finger that had gotten bitten from a Mangrove Jack. Ever since I saw that I was hooked.

Glad everyone likes him (and I know, my glass is filthy. I gotta get a magnet cleaner.) I do add some salt to the water, as it seems to keep him happy and better coloured. No tankmates at all, but he did once rip the head off a 20cm brasiliensis. You can keep things with them when the jack is smaller, but it tends to freak them out. BTW, its good to see how much respect there is for Steve.
