Anyone interested in Mangrove Jacks? Came to work today and saw them labeled as red snappers. Just did some research and turns out they get fairly large and are uber aggressive, not my cup of tea! They're in fulll freshwater as of now.

Well we have them at Tong's in FV if anyone wants them. They are $9ea.

Nothing else really interesting exodons and pink tailed chalceus..

They are about 3". Seemed like nobody keeps them, figured they might be rare but I can be wrong. :)

they are snappers, so the snapper trade name isn't inaccurate in that sense.

Well thats good to know! I searched the forum for red snapper and came up with mostly turtle snappers so I had to dig a little to find out everyone calls them mangrove jacks..

No pics.

I forgot to add we have small Super Red Severums too, it seemed like everyone was looking for them a while back. They are really small this time though about 2", probably a little bit bigger than a half dollar and they are $12ea.
