Mantilla pricing

Just Wondering what the going price of mantillas are going for. I know there are different variables like size sex pattern etc etc.

I've also read there is speculation that these are same species as motoro but the patterns are different from collection points

I'd like to obtain one someday to add in w marbles but I saw one on craigslist today that was labeled as marblexmantilla for $1250!?! I thought this seemed way high, but can't recall of actually seeing one for sale. I just assumed they would be going for something similar to a nice marble

Last CB Mantilla X Marbles went for $400. Search for the username crystal clear exotics threads..... It was him that bred them.

Mantillas can get aurnry. I had a big one that went to "clearwaterguy" I believe it was. She was more then my Marbles could handle at feeding time, had to go.

"Shawn L" had a really nice good sized female Mantilla but not sure if he still does. I know he gets little ones regularly.
 
Thanks a lot. He was asking $1250 obo, but I don't know if the seller would be too happy to hear an offer like that if they think it's worth what they're asking. It's a male so I'm not too interested. I just thought that seemed way high. Thanks again

Shawn had 2 males and the now there is only 1 left, the one he sold was a stunner and had an amazing pattern, you can find the not so nice one on aquabid for $300
 
I think $1250 is way over priced for mantilla, I got 3 WC ones from Shawn late last year, very nice rays, think they where around $400-500 each. Do you have a link or picture of the mantilla x marble? Curious to see what that combo looks like, my mantilla x motoro is one of my favorite rays, other than my black rays ofcourse.
