Mantilla question

Any info on the Mantilla ray ?
I have found one for sale at £250. Is this a fair price ? I thought it a little high. I haven't seen it yet. it is in a shop owned by a guy who keeps rays at home so likes to offer them for sale as well. How big do they get and would they mix with Orbignyi O.K. By the way the Mantilla is 8" +

a little pricey but they are not found as often i paid $175 for a 10" female... i think max size is about 18" and sma care as most other rays i would buy it if i was you true mantillas are awesome

You need to remember that all fish cost more in the UK, though it does sound a bit steep for a 8 inch specimen. Try and get the seller to lower the price. The rays will get along fine i think. How big is the Orbignyi anyway?

Yeah i saw this thread and i have seen the mantilla on franks site. they look lovely!! My Orbs are a 12" female and 10" male. I realy want this Mantilla but can't afford £200 let alone £250 !! i will have to have a garage sale and see what i can scrape together !! thanks

I want her Nice and Fat. Water changes have gone to every 3 days.
