Mantis 'shrimp' deserve a beetter common name!!

Since stomatopods aren't shrimp, I think they deserve their own real name...

I thought of the word "mantarid."

If you like it, please spread it around and popularize it! If you don't, then please help suggest a better one.

I couldn't think of another word that has the same kind of "mantis" feel to it.

How about... Mantis Shrimp!

I mean, they look like a mantis and a shrimp!

If you complain they aren't a shrimp and shouldn't be calling them a shrimp, surely you cannot call them a Mantis either! On top of that they are far more shrimp like than mantis like.
