There's actually 2 kinds as said, smashers and spearers. One bashes at the food, the other spears it.

I seen one of these mantis shrimps at my LFS, that thing looks awesome

I didn't take a pic of the mantis cause I had just fed him a few hours before I put the ad up and I wanted to let him eat in peace.

G. smithii's are smashers (see the link in one of my previous posts.) They don't get much larger than 3 inches, so the eclipse can be his home for life.

I'll take pics of the little guy tonight.
