Mantis Shrimp

Anyone ever try breeding the Mantis?
I might pick up another or a couple more peacock and try breeding. I have a lot of research to do, and I am not even sure if they can be sexed or not. Anyone, anyone??

There is an expert on mantis shrimp over at reefcentral.com , think his name is gonodactylus. Really nice guy.

Check the mantis shrimp tab out and you can't miss him.

As far as breeding goes, it's very difficult and I'm not sure it can even be done in captivity with most species. There is a supplier of mantis shrimp out there that does sex them so you know what you are getting- think it's stomatopods.com (spelling)

Yea he is pretty much my mantis guru. The species list he made up (it is stickied in the mantis section) is incredible.
