Who here has them? I really want to get one and was wondering if any of u guys had one.

I have a peacock mantis as well right now in a 29 gallon biocube

Also I would like to add that as long as you keep him fed well it might not require a species tank setup. Right now my 29 gallon is full of corals that he rarely touches and an archeye hawkfish and a nemo, he doesn't mess with any of them. No other inverts though

Someone asking about me?

Here's the 15g tank I live in.
I have a lot more rock & corals in my tank now:

And the basement condo I dug out:

yeah quite a few people on here have or at least had mantises before. they are really worth while if you dont mind the whole solo tank thing.

IMO one of the coolest creatures in the Monster keeping hobby!

noobish.... i think once you get the basics down they are totally withing reach.
finding a good SW store that you can trust would be a good thing to do first.

The only thing is keeping on top of the water level on a smaller tank. I also have several corals & even a 6-line wrasse in there to eat all the extra posd that were taking over.

they are pretty hardy but I would start with some easy marine fish like damsels and then when you get your mantis he will already have some food lol
