My female blue crayfish was in berry about 3 months ago. Some eggs hatched, but were eaten, but some are still left on her tail, and so are all the "shells" from the ones that already hatched.
It's been too long and the female can't get them off (or she doesn't want too). I want to take them off by myself.
Any advice/tips?

Thanks in advance!

I was going to today, but noticed a problem. The cray was on her side! She was breathing, but I could tell she wasn't going to make it. I think that the eggs(or whatever they were) may have turned into some sort of parasite and ate all the food she ate. Therefore she had no nutrients and was probably weak and starving to death because of the eggs. I wish I pm'ed Oddball sooner! He would have known, this death was entirely my fault and could have easily been prevented... :( I put her down this afternoon...
