today i looked at my map turtle and his whole tail is shredded up and all the skin is missing. idk what to do. please help mee!!!! 'll get a picture up in secog

Are these bite wounds? If so it's usually a good idea to get your turtle on an antibiotic that your vet will have to provide. The turtle should be quarantined by it's self in a clean tank. For now you're going to have to keep the wound clean with something like Betadine or Iodine daily. Let the turtle dry off for an hour or two after each application. Feed your turtle foods high in vitamin A which will help the healing process.
okay, i do have some betadine. but its like a year old. is it still good to use??? if so, i just put it right on the wound right?
okay. thank you for the help. fot now, i have him in a quaritine tank without any other fish or turtles. there is no current in it because i dont want to stress him. he does eat a little bit. i have a basking area for him even though he's not using it. sounds good??
Bump the water temps up to 30'C to speed the healing along, and just keep an eye on it. Turtles are good at recovering, just keep treating it for infection and the water clean and let the turtle do the rest.
You should look into keeping him separate from whatever did that to him from now on, please dont put him back in the setup he came from, it will more than likely happen again.
