Hey guys,
Last week I treated my baby arapaima for fin rot. While the whitish fraying of the fins are gone the little guy still shows some frayed fins. He had a baby jardini and 2 baby dempseys as tankmates that are way smaller than he is, now he is alone in a 20 gal long. Before fin nipping wasn't an issue but now I know it definitely isn't a nipping issue as he is alone. The arapaima is 5 inches long. The instructions mentions you can dose again, someone I know said Maracyn works better. Not sure what to do!? The water params are as follows:
Nitrate: 0
Nitrite: 0
KH: 10
GH: 30
PH: 6.5
Temp in the tank is 80.2
Here is a pic:
Sorry for the bad pic, he doesn't stay still!
