it looks like a florida to me but the nose seems long, I saw those too and they are a deal at the price.
those are almost always FL's coming from TFD, and that's what's in the photo. TFD sucks at ID'ing gars, so they generally gave up at trying a few years ago--

thats what i thought, but for $7.50 since i am ordering from them anyways i think i will through a few on there...i paid $20 for my fl i have now and have seen others at 7" for $60... i love my fl gar...
The length of the snout compared to the entire head would suggest that this is a longnose gar. I bought my LNG at a LFS for $12.

looks like i will have to wait for more gars as i am getting some more silver aros to try to breed....i will get alot more gars when i have my house to try to breed them aswell...i have a good idea as to how to breed gars...just need to test it...i may do it with shorties or long nose as they could go in an outdoor pond for me...
