hellloooo,

question, my marbled gar seems to have some kinking in his fins? almost like rheumatoid arthritis in humans. i've only had him for a few weeks now. just noticed it this week i don't like staring down a juvi and him go crazy bashing into to tank walls.

any supplements on the market that may be able to ail my finned friend?

marbled gar >8"
75 gallon
amm 0
nitr 0
ntra >20
other smaller sa/ca cichlids, no conntact or aggresion to report
eats 3-4 feeders every other day.

thanks for looking and any input would be very helpful.

Hi mate.
I think, though I'm sure the experts here will correct me, but "Marbled Gar is a common name for Boulengerella maculate.
This isn't actually a Gar, but a Pike Characin.

Look like this:?

Not a Gar mate.
It is a Pike Characin. There common names usually include Gar in it, but it isn't.
You can see by the forked Caudal fin. (among other things)

You may get good advice in the "Other Characin" forums.
