my marble crayfish is in a 5 gallon tank by her self there are some plants in there with her. today i looked in the cave she hides in and saw that there were eggs on the ground around her is this normal i thought they carried eggs under there tail?

Marbled crays have the best survival rate at 68ºF. So maybe dropping the temp a little, adding lots of crushed coral and giving her some cuttlebone to eat would help the next batch stay on course. Just what I would try. How hard is your water?
