1) Will a marble goby make a good tankmate for an ornate bichir longterm or will it eventually eat the bichir?

2) If an adult ornate bichir won't be safe with adult marble goby (the ornate maxes out at 27 inches), would a larger bichir species like the congo (39 inches) be safe with a fully mature marble goby?

3) Will a fire eel (maxes out at 39 inches) be safe with a marble goby for life? How about a gold severum?

4) Will a marble goby and a jade sleeper goby (fat sleeper goby) coexist peacefully longterm?

5) SharpToothBass had a 14 inch marble goby which ate an 8 inch clown knife. This leads me to believe that a large marble goby would probably eat clown loaches in the 5-8 inch range. What if the goby is purchased while its only 4 inches and placed with the loaches when they are 5-8 inches, if never fed feeders, when the goby gets larger, will it still target the loaches as a meal or will it accept them as tankmates and live peacefully with them?

6) I believe that a clown knife and marble goby can coexist peacefully if they grow up together since I have a jade sleeper with my CK right now with no problems. They have lived together for a year and a half and grew up together. (The CK is the dominant fish in the tank.)

7) What is a safe minimum size, in general, for a fish to be in order to live with an adult marble goby?

Anyway, I am thinking about adding a marble goby to my stocking or replacing the jade goby with a marble goby. Let me know! Thanks for your responses.

My 20" marble goby is sharing her tank with 2 snakeheads (5"), " mini lobsters " and eels (8"). They seem to be ok..... Lots of feeder goldfish to avoid them chasing each other when they're hungry

I have one, he's 14" or so and ive never been able to keep tank mates with him, he kills everything he cant eat and eats what he can when hes hungry

I would treat the marble goby similar to cats when people say if it can get it in it's mouth, you might have an expensive meal one day. But manage what you put with it & get one. It's the one fish I want to always have in at least 1 of my tanks! I have a 12" in with my pbass 300 gallon & also have 4 babies growing right now.

I keep my 13inch water cow with my 8 inch gulper. If the gulper gets too close he snaps at him. Funny thing I had a 5 inch rose queen that was picking on the water cow, I thought the water cow would eat him but that never happened, I had to put the water cow in my gulper tank
