marble goby

if u have any info (size, tank size, tankmates) on the marble goby (oxyeleotris marmoratus), all would be greatly appreciated.

They can grow to around 24'' / 60cm, and have a massive mouth capable of taking down large fish, so choose tankmates wisely.

They are opportunistic pounce predators, so it may be difficult to feed them if they are in a tank with many predators.

I just acquired one. You pretty much have to drop the food on his nose. I get my wife to drop in something to distract the other hungry monsters while I feed my Goby.

I think it really depends on the fish. My goby over the last few days has allowed the bichirs to lay on his nose. They were definitely lunchable size. But they crawled all over him. I moved them today...just to be safe.
