Hey,
From what I get when reading posts about marble motoros they are supposed to stay way smaller than motoros.

Since I cannot get my hands on a pair of reticulatus, scobina or hystrix and a store is selling male marble motoros at the moment I'd like to know if one of those males that are supposed to only grow to 12-14in would be ok in a 6ft by 31.5in tank.

Just one ray in that tank should be fine. Maybe even a pair as long as water quality is maintained.

Hey,
I think female marbles would get too big for this footprint though.

So a single male marble motoro would be ok for me (I haven't asked for the price yet. I guess that's something I should do before saying that I am considering buying one).

The tank mates would be ok as well?

Hard to see. Just a silver dollar and an oscar? I don't think I would trust an oscar w rays personally. But u never know.

6 wide bars and 6 bumblebee oscars are in the tank.
I will add some more rare silverdollars in the future and most likely will see some of the bumblebees as they mature.

I have seen tanks with rays and oscars several times but those are always ocellatus not crassipinnis.

If I was u, I would get rid of the sd''s and Oscars, build a bigger tank, and get more and more rays! Lol. :stingray:

Probably could do a male marble in that tank.
