This male is beating the hell out of my female. Its starting to get a little hard to watch. Do ya'll seperate yours? Or is this just the norm?

Does the aggression stop when the male get's her? Also do ya'll ever worrie about fungus forming on/because of the wounds?

I'm doign water changes like crazy. To keep the water clean... I even have added some salt.

In most cases the aggro stops once he breeds her. How large is she and do you know if she is
matured. They should produce some nice offspring when the dirty is done.
Looks like she has nipped him a few times also. Like RT said just keep the water clean and should
heal without issue.

It may stop if/when she gets pregnant. But will start again. You may have to put a divider in if he gets really bad. Nice looking marbles btw.

Yes hes mature and shes 10'' (ballpark)..

There is a solid chance they have breed berfore.

Jeff,
I'm relatively new to rays but they do need a lot of space. In general the male should be younger (smaller) than the female to prevent him from injuring her too much. I doubt that she is mature at 10", that isn't very large for a female marble. Sand may help as they love to dig constantly and it may help keep them occupied.

I thought you sold these?
