Can these guys be kept in a reef? How hard are they to take care of?

It would be kept in 24 gallon pod with around 20lbs of LR.

I do not recommend these for smaller or younger tanks. They feed on the bacteria film in your tank.

Is there any star other than like brittle or serpent stars that can be kept in the aquapod thats relatively hardy?

i wouldn't put any echinoderms in a young tank..

but fromias ccan be kept in a 24 gallon relatively well.. i had a young burgundy star in my 29 for a long time.. moved him to a new tank.. dead...

if youre willing to wait for the tank to establish more the fromia would make a good choice for such a small tank
