Should expect 28-30” range full size... bit smaller mouth and growth than most “monsters” but typical fish when keeping larger cat sp. 12-18” in the 1st cple yrs, 2’ 3-4 yrs and so on. Id recommend atleast a 4’x8’ footprint for 1 specimen.
Still on here after the big tank sale? I would recommend something a bit larger. 4'x10'. Just so that it could feel comfortable. Pics?

Bigger is always better but for a 28 inch fish, a 4 by 8 is ?. In my experience they are not as jumpy as tiger shovelnose are
