Would this tank work for one 48 x 48 x 8 Tall, if not then how long would i be able to keep one in this tank if i got it when it was an egg? There will be almost no live rock in the display instead i planned on using a 75 gallon sump with live rock.

Is that 8" tall?
That's what I was wondering,interesting dimensions.

By Marbled Bamboo Cat Shark - I assume you mean the White-spotted Bamboo (Chiloscyllium plagiosum) which is the actual common name for this shark. Marbled Bamboo Cat shark is what it's called & sold as in LFS and Online Fish shops.

As for the tank - that's basically a coral tank. For a Juvenile bamboo shark - I would suggest going with a tank that is at least 15-16" tall. But the 4' x 4' would be good for a juvenile white-spotted bamboo for about 2 years. A nice grow out tank.

I like the 4 x 4 foot print, so glass cages has one in 12 or 16 inches tall, if i was to get the 48 x 48 x 16 i could house it there for around 2 years before upgrading?

My original plan was to buy one of these:

preferably the 460 gallon one, would that be big enough for the shark after 2 years?I read the sharks will bump into corners so i thought cylinder would be better.

this is an option also, but it is only 3 feet wide..would the fully grown shark be able to turn around?

I have 400gallon pond tank. Perfect for those who have koi or pond out door and want to move them in indoor. demension are 6x4x2' no leak in excellent condition. $400 OBO or trade for a completed 120g plus set up or cash. I am open for any offer but please be reasonable, or trade just let me know what you have.

Looks like it is 4' wide to me...

Ya, i guess i miss read, but would this one work for the fully grown shark?

The 460 gallon would be better. Since it has a 70" diameter it might be okay for an average size(~30") adult White-spotted Bamboo.

Still a small pond that is 7-8 ft in diameter or a small oval pond that is at least 10' Long x 5' wide would be preferred, to keep an adult Whitespotted Bamboo for life in.
