At my local fish store they had these catfish called marbled they were about 4 inchs, 11.99 each. I looked up Marbled Catfish and it looked nothing like it...The ones i saw in the store kinda looked like a white and black walking catfish it had a cow pattern on it and it had lots of barbs or wiskers...Anyone know what it is?

no it looks nothing like that ...seriously think of a cow thats the pattern on the body

i think it might be an Albino Walking Catfish looks indentical to it!! Unless there is something that looks like it but is not it.

Some people refer to Leiarius marmoratus as a "Marbled Catfish." Be careful, you do not want to purchase the wrong species if your tank isn't large enough or have plans to upgrade in the near future.

I have a marmoratus and he is a great looking fish, but is a true monster catfish. Huge appetite and will snap at any fish, larger or smaller, during feeding time if the others get too close. The smaller fish are also subject to becoming lunch if they fit in his mouth.
