Marbled crayfish as live food source?

I was thinking of starting up a small tank for shrimp, but came across the "self-cloning" marbled crayfish. Would these be an OK live food treat for a fire eel?

Yep. So does the IT.

And these would be healthier in the long run, no chance for nasties from chain store.
