Does anyone know how to properly raise these?

Do I need a filter if I provide rocks to climb on?

Do I need a heater?

I already have a crayfish aquarium and do not want to put these in that tank because I know they will get destroyed.

HELP lol

the only thing I know is you don't need a heater as long as the water not frozen.

don't need a heater! I keep one during the winter, just in case, but in the summer you don't need one. you should have a filter no matter what. there should be rocks and caves.

If babies, cut up a hand bunch of straws about 1.5 inches long each, and tie together with anything that will hold them together. Electrical tape will work, and same with string. You can weigh them down with rocks and they provide the many hides you will need for the little ones. As for the larger ones, any tubing or pipe will work.

If for visual, rocks, piping, and more rocks to hide unsightly piping.

Forgot to add, you don't need a heater. Cooler, not cold, temperatures are fine.

Caring for them is pretty similar to any other crayfish.

Definitely need a filter. They produce a great amount of waste and a filter is needed to keep the water clean.

No heater necessary unless you keep it really cold in your fish room.

Do give them places to hide and make sure the water parameters are in line with crayfish needs.
