I think my 1 of my marbles has finally berried, if I pick it up or do something to make it move so it easier to see, it wont cause any harm will it. They wont drop the eggs if stressed is what im asking basically

You can hold them underwater. Not sure how much stress they can take but mine were moved from one aquarium to another while berried and they are fine. Some people ship berried ones with no issues.

I wouldn't try to take a berried one (or one holding hatched babies) out of the water though. They'll kick off all the eggs or young as soon as they start to leave the water from what I've read. Can be good info to have though if you are trying to separate them.

For the most part, the eggs are fairly secured to the mother's tail. However, if you stress a mother too much and she tail flicks to escape or get loose, that can shake a lot of the eggs free from her tail. Irrespective of being in or out of the water.

If you need to move her to view her or to put her into another tank, I suggest picking up one of the those small breeder tanks that sit on the inside of a normal tank, a large tupperware, etc and gently making her back into and then view/move her. You know, rather than actually handling her in or out of the water.

Well checked her out and sure enough shes berried, noticed 2 others are berried. Havent seen the 4th one in a few days, but im assuming its berried as well.

They breed like crazy, I love mine. Just be gentle when you pick them up.
