Marbled Lungfish not eating

Hi,

I recently bought this a month ago. It ate at the first few days, however, he hasn't eaten for 3 weeks now. He seems okay, no physical problem so far, but he kept on hiding the face in the filter. He completely disregards the feeder goldfishes too. Is there something I can do for this?

Do undergo periods of not eating. If active , going up for air and swimming then I’d wait and keep the water well maintained. Retry feeding cut up earthworms or tilapia in a few days. Leave the feeders in and keep count. Just my 2cts.

He is still going up and breathing, no signs of struggle.. Kept water changing twice a week since I though the problem was water, but looks like its not. I'll try the worm... Thanks.

Ive never had a lung species refuse pellets… in my experience they enjoy sifting for food in the substrate. Id try sinking pellets and other prepared foods as others have suggested. They will pick off live fish from time to time but thats not enough as a “staple” food source for them.

beautiful fish. I would also recommend sinking pellets and fleshy meats like mp. maybe it only ate at the beginning bc it was super starved, but now doesn't eat bc it doesn't like the food?? idk. just spitballing. good luck!
