Yes it is gold with black spots, but i cant see any white on its fins(maybe too young)It doesnt have as long of a snout as a reg.shovelnose, its snout is more rounded but it does look like a shovelnose.I bought it for $40.00 for a 2 inch cat.As soon as it hit the water it inhaled 3-4 chunks of raw shrimp.I love this cat!!!!Do you know where i can find a pic of this cat???

could also be an agenieosus (spelling, too tire to care) species. I think there is a marbled variety. Sometimes they are referred to as shovelnose cats as well

I will have to get my wife to post a pic,but when i look at it it looks like the marbled pim,but its snout is different more like a shovelnose but rounder and shorter. And like i said earlier he inhales shrimp!!!If it is a Pim how big do you guys think he will get??
