Marbling or just spotting

Here are some pics of my male motoro. He is developing a lot of black spotting on his disk. Could it be some marbling or just spotting? His is about 6.5



inches.

The start of marbling patterns tend to look different IMO but nice ray either way...

eye it does but color and spotting on these all lead to peru motoros not columbian

What is it with people and calling every spotted ray a peruvian motoro at the minute. Every pic of a ray that gets posted seems to be called a peruvian motoro if the person id`ing it doesnt know what it is not everything is peruvian you know.

I think that is because most South American fish imported to teh States come from Peru and few come out of Colombia.

the coloring and spotting look like every other peru motoro i have seen... columbian motoro are not that dark in color or i have never seen one from columbia like that...

But my P40 keeps getting called a peruvian motoro everytime I post it on here and it look absulutely nothing like that.
