Marginatus???????

I think this is a marginatus but not too sure Can anyone identify him?

Tail kind of suggests it.
Need to get some food in that fish asap.
How large is it? How long have you had it?
I'm assuming its brand new.

Ive had him for over a year and he eats like crazy hes about 3.5" definatly not under fed he eats usually at least 3 roseys a day if not more

Looks Like One ! I say because they look like something bit their hump on there back off ...

Something is deffinately wrong. 3.5" after a year? I guess its not unheard of.
Big thing that stands out to me is how concaved the dorsum is.

looks just like my old marginatus, very aggresive piranha and mine used to eat a ton but he never got to thick, i used to feed him twice a week about 10-12 rosies, doesnt look deformed to me.

I've never kept marginatus. Just looks "off" to me compaired to other pictures I've seen of them.
