Looking for pros/cons and info on the 300gallon and acrylic 4 sump.

1) Are the corner overflows worth the loss of tank space and additional cost? I like the look of the tank without the overflow's and the added tank space. Also like the idea of less possibility of leaks and want to use sand in the tank. The factory overflows drain water both high and low.

2) Would the model 4 sump really out perform 2 FX5's or two large Eheim's (2080 or 2262)

3) Do not really want to build a sump system. Looking for plug and play and ease of cleaning.

Any info/opinions are welcome. Thanks

get the sump. they work the best and are cheaper. how much GPH is your pump tated for.

if you want a 10x turnover shoot for 3000gph.

i would recommend the corner overflows. they are not as problematic as a HOB overflow .

I am looking at getting one of these. What pump works best with this sump?

Anybody have a diagram on how I would go about hooking this up to my twin overflows? I have an AGA 210 with twin predrilled overflows.

I ended up going with two model 4500 Maxi-Jet pumps. I hope this will cover what I need for my 210.
