ok i got a 55 gallon tank that had two of these marine land 550 power heads i think is what they are called. they run but wont push any water anybody got any ideas as to why

the are free i checked them in my sink while they were submerged they run an all but dont push any water
hmm...either they are broken or somthing is blocking flow. If you dont feel comfy pulling them apart to check all the parts are in working order then I would suggest takeing them back to your LFS and have them check to see what the deal is.
right i will have to take a closer look at them i just thought maybe somebody might of had thi problem before
