Does anyone have one, or have you owned one before? I am interested in buying one, but I would first like to hear a few comments about the system. Anything from ease of maintenance to general use and reliability. The filter costs close to $250 up here, just want to make sure my $ is going to good use.

they are crap dont get one....I made a pretty thorough review on that, the rena xp3 and fluval 405 just look at my older posts....IMO the c360 is cheaply made and has bad flowthrough..I also highly doubt the claimed flowrate of the filter..Only good thing about it (again IMO) is the large media baskets...im sure people will tell you they love them but I think the xp3 and 405 are way better filters...also holy CRAP $250? just buy a used fx5 from this site!

Thanks, I was waiting for someone to reply. I figured they couldn't be all that great, they look cheap. I only liked how the filter baskets were stackable, but I think the FX5 is pretty much the same in terms of stackable baskets, I also did find the price a tad too high. An FX5 on a 65g tank is going to be crazy, but I don't believe in over filtering. Thanks again :)

I dont agree,I have used one for the last 2 years on my 125 and have not had any problems what so ever holds more media than the 405 and the flow rate is great(when i lift my return hose out the water the flow is very strong)but i would agree 250 is to much for it ,here where we are at a brand new fx5 is 250. I have bought fx5's for a few members on this site and shipped it to them because they are cheap here. the c-360 is only like 160 here.

I don't understand why they are sooo expensive here?!?! for the price I would rather have an FX5, the only thing that turned me on to these was the stackable baskets. I can get an FX5 new for around $275 from a place I know, I would rather own that than the C-360 for that extra $25.

If i had to chose for the same price i would get the fx5(good even if you upgrade later your filtration wont have to be chaged)

Good point. Due to my plan of keeping 2 larger tanks later on though, I will most likely end up with two of them..

I like them very user friendly :D But if I could shell an extra $25 for an FX5 i'd do that in a heart beat

I can, and most likely will.. lol
