I am in the market for a filter for my new 40 breeder tank. I am torn between the Marineland c-360 and the Fluval 305. Price seems to be about the same, especially since the Marineland has a $20 MIR. The Marineland is a larger filter and seems to have lots more room for media compared to the Fluval. The only complaint I have heard is that the hoses on the Marineland are really stiff and make it harder to hang them over the rim of the tank. Which one do you all think I should choose. Any owners of either of these filters I would especially like to hear from you, but all advice is welcome.
