after my confidence with the ehiem now, I felt I could do anything. picked me up a super cheap marine land canister for polishing my gold fish tank. directions to a T and I cant get it to push water out. I purge and purge. I did it with no water in filter, then filled it half way, tried sucking the intake and output to get it going, I can get the intake full of water and then it pumps water maybe less thana quarter way up output. I then cut the hose even more to give hardly any slack. anyone have any tips for me

Anyone, as my output fills up my intake drains and vice versa

fill the canister up ALL THE WAY ..get your INTAKE /OUTPUT hoses where you want em.. start up the can.....put a big powerhead up to the intake hose and turn that on ...that should prime it....

Lol on the video, I do have some common since... I just said F it and do my wc and after 3 hours of It doing it just started working
