Marineland CBW-1's or commercial bio-wheels.

A friend of mine picked these up from a pet store that closed. Cannot find any specs related to bio capacity of these wheels related to home use?

Google searches relate commercial lobster tanks or pet store multi units .

Anyone have first hand knowledge of modifying these for home sump use ?

How about a picture of them? Normally bio wheels aren't going to surpass the capacity that bio media like ceramic and glass can house.

I have a Marineland CBW that I used on my African cichlid tank quite a few years ago.They used to be sold in some catalogs but I was lucky enough to find mine at a good price at a shop.I don't remember the specs or how much of a bio load they are rated to handle but my tank at the time was a one fifty and the CBW sat in a thirty gallon tank as it's sump.
