Marineland LED Lighting Systems

Anyone use this before ? I Cant seem to find a LED light to fight my 6 ft 180 gal. But hey they say it is 48-60. So assume that 48 is accual light size and then has rods that stretch.

4 ft is cool with me Dark top corners hide the heaters and such but I cant find em. Dont really like ordering online.

But yea whos used them ?

Don't waste ur money on those overpriced led lights. Beamworks led are a fraction of the price. Buy 2 36 inch lights and ur good

hmm ok, Do LED lights cast off at all ? Could I get away with a 4 ft light and it will light the bottom sides ?

If u look up beamworks u will see many large tanks with them. I think the 48 inch light is $75 delivered

Also all the sites I find them all shipping to me cost about the same as going to the store and buying a marineland.

Also do leds cast light ? Are the side of my tank going to be black or will the light cast to the sides ?

If u buy 2 it will be pretty well lit all around with the sides being a lil darker. Aquatraders.com is where I got mine. Some people don't like them but I had no problem with them

Thanks ! im trying to avoid using two. But It doesnt look like im going to be able to. They dont make 6 ft ones ? or 5 ft ? im worried a 4 ft wont cast off to the sides like a t8 bulb does

Yea was checkin out local prices... 2 36 inches would have ran me around 400.... SO I will be ordering them within the hour THANKS ! !
