Marineland penguin 350 on 125 gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Depends if you are talking about a glass tank or acrylic. Even the vendors for acrylic does different things for the top cover, so it will vary which ones you can put it on and which ones you cannot. It should fit a glass tank with no issue.

The readily available marineland or aqueon 125 gallon glass tanks

Yes, I have a 350 on an Aqueon 125g, and another on a SeaClear acrylic. I was able to drop them in place, with no modifications. Obviously, much additional filtration will be needed (depending on stocking and conditions).

I currently have 2 350s on my 75 was gonna upgrade tank and leave same stock for the 125 in May and was thinking just adding another 350.

I use to use fx6s prior but im too lazy to take apart the filters for cleaning so prefer as many hobs I can fit for ease of maintenance lol

I would buy an AC 110 instead, or two. I love both the 350 and 110s, but between the two... 110 all the way. I have several of both.

I've had the worst luck with aquacler 110s.... the smallest particle of sand gets stuck in the impeller and it sounds like death. Its a pain. If I didnt have sand I'd def go ac110

Might consider the new seachem tidal 110 and pair that with my 2 penguin 350s

Get some skimming action as well.
