When the Stealth heaters started melting down and blowing up I had 5 or 6 of them. Most I returned at PetSmart, but a couple I exchanged for Visi-Therm heaters. Now, about a year later, one of them (at least, I need to check one that is in a sump) has stopped working. The light comes on, but no heat. Luckily the only fish in the tank is a Gymnogeophagus balzanii, so this is his cool-down period.
Does anyone know if you can exchange the Visi-Therm Heaters at PetSmart? I would rather get a bag of gravel or some frozen food than another crummy Marineland heater...
