While in chinatown today i checked out a few fish markets for Jed to see if they had any 'mundi's, well one did..almost all had cloudy eyes, but for 7.99 a pound(14$ for this guy) i couldn't leave without taking a chance, so i picked out the largest one, which is 15", he has one pretty bad cloudy eye, otherwise he looks alright, he showed interest in some shrimp, but did not eat..tank is being airated, and treated with tetracycline, also added salt..hopeing for the best..

yeah, this size would have run at least $250 in an LFS...only downside is the markets don't bag them like an LFS..i had to bring him to an LFS around the corner to get him in a bigger bag with more water..

yup, i was thinking that today..i have some huge bags from when i got the RTC..i should have brought them with me..but oh well, i wasn't expecting to see them, or get one.

he's in my 55g hospital tank now, he'll be in there until im sure he's healthy.

its a fish market..they had striped bass, tilapia, carp and catfish

i gotta visit chinatown next time in that area... but traffic and parking are very bad...
