Is it just me or do you guys have fish that wil only eat certain market shrimp? I have been buying the same shrimp from albertsons for a long time....I Bought some frozen shrimp from the walmart and they are tending to spit it out now. Any similar experiences?

i bought frozen ones from foodlion.. mass quantitys so i havnt run out yet.. i hope i dont run into this problem
Mine eats fresh gulf shrimp (because I live on the gulf) I bought a bag from winn dixie cause I ran out and was cheap, my fire eel wouldn't even touch it. It was like trying to get a little kid to eat their veggies.
I mostly buy a certain brand but have used another brand before and hadn't had any problems with my fish not eating it. It may have something to do with how they wash them before they freeze them. I think some brands freeze them straight from the ocean and probably maintain there natural scent. Where other brands might rinse there's more before freezing washing out a lot of there natural scent which the fish can taste.
