Does anyone have any idea when these new "updates" will be finished? It's quite annoying and time consuming to have to click on every thread in the Marketplace to only find out they're on the opposite side of the country. I remember when the Marketplace had regions sectioned out. Northeast, southeast, Midwest, North west southwest etc. Being a member since 2007 I've seen dozens of changes in the forum some better than others but hopefully this one when completed is the best one.

The admins haven't updated yet, but i am sure they are working as hard as they can. MFK has been without Admins for long periods of time, and i wouldn't be surprised if there is a lot to do at the back end after all this time. Atleast there are no more of those annoying bot posts, clearly showing improvements have been made.
Plus, running and updating a website requires time and money, so the least we can do is wait.

A rudimentary fix while you wait is to type your state in the search engine. All the threads will come up in your state then you can scroll thru and look at the marketplace ones

Believe me, I am feeling the pain as well.

In addition to this place I am overseeing three other dying web forums.

In each situation it appears that the upgrade process has stalled midway and the people working on it have basically quit & disappeared.

I’m not saying that that’s what happened here, as I don’t have any true indication either way.

But it’s a symptom of getting old. I am 70 years old and I have been watching forums come and go since I was back on Yahoo in the early 90s.

But they screwed it up and most people just left Yahoo. It’s been like a slow motion series of dominoes ever since.
