I found a well-bonded 9-10" pair of C. marmorata at a LFS today.....and am thinking about buying them. Any advice?

Ok, thanks guys. They are nice looking. A little dark, but nice and they seem to get along well as of today. Tomorrow things can change as I am sure you know :)
They are $250.00 for the pair. Good price??
 
Nice, but I would definitely try to haggle them down a bit. ;)

You should just get some of the lents that Rapps currently has. ;) They are going to be stunners. ;) Trust me on this one . . . those lents are special. ;)
 
those marms are so sweet. if i had the space i woulda picked them up a few months back. i say go for us. make sure to post some pics if you get them.

$250 seems right in line with what I've seen for that size of marmorata. Be honest, everyone here would want at least $250 if they had a bonded pair of marms that they wanted to sell. I'd still try and talk George down to at least $200 but $250 is reasonable.

$250 for a pair is better than $1k per pike, eh Brian? ;)

Of all the pikes that Jeff has listed right now the lacustris are probably the most rare and will continue to be so in the future. Someone should jump on them or I'll have to spend money on them... :nilly:
